7 Arrested at #OccupyPortland March To Shut Down Corporations

PORTLAND, OREGON – February 29, 2012 – A Occupy movement march to raise awareness of the American Legislative Exchange Council or ALEC.. Randy L. Rasmussen/The Oregonian

Wednesday was #OWS’s #F29 Shut Down The Corporations: Leap Into Action! Reclaim Our Future! day with protests galore across the land. The goal? To get occupiers back into the news cycle with preplanned and staged arrests designed to make the occupiers look like selfless martyrs to the weak minded.

Oregon Live reported that seven people were arrested at Occupy Portland’s “mostly peaceful” protest.

Though seven people were arrested throughout the day, Wednesday’s F29 march through downtown Portland was largely a peaceful one, with several hundred taking to the streets protesting corporate involvement with ALEC, the American Legislative Exchange Council.

The question nobody asks is why the media never characterized the entirely peaceful tea party (0 tea party arrests in three years) as peaceful (or even mostly peaceful) in its coverage of tea party events. Instead the media narrative was that it was”extreme”,  “racist”, or even “radical”.

For some reason, the media feels compelled to pat the Occupy movement on the head and compliment it every time it doesn’t erupt into a full fledged riot.

But now the occupy group “Anonymous” has openly declared war against the United States, and we hear not a peep.

Gosh…could it have something to do with the fact that the occupy movement is allied with the Democrat party, and the Democrat party is allied with the MSM – (The Democrat media complex)?
