Shakira wowed viewers with her moves on TikTok in some sky-high platform shoes by designer Amina Muaddi during her appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on May 16. Assisted by her stylist Nicolas Bru, the “Te Felicito” singer paired the leather stiletto booties with a stunning burgundy Mugler minidress that showcased sheer mesh panels and a figure-hugging corset bodice. This marked the first time Shakira was spotted rocking this French couture brand, and we’re hoping to see more Mugler looks from her in the future.
Facing off against Fallon in the Watch-It-Once TikTok Challenge, Shakira confidently attempted to replicate viral dance routines after watching them only once, despite her initial claim of not being able to dance in high heels. She effortlessly grooved in those towering six-inch heels with pointed-toe platforms.
Earlier in the day, Shakira sported the same platform heels at the NBCUniversal Upfront event, this time pairing them with black high-waisted pants and a striking red strapless Ashlyn top. She made an appearance to promote her new show “Dancing With Myself,” where she will serve as a judge alongside Nick Jonas and Liza Koshy. Maybe this means more performances in platform boots are in store for us.
